Certified and credentialed coach and mentor coach
Here's A Little About Me:
In 2008, drawing upon a host of professional and personal experiences, interests and strengths, I launched Bravo To You, LLC, a coaching practice that specializes in coaching women toward personal and professional success. A year later, I discovered the power of coaching youth, and have made it my mission to bring the gift of coaching to teenagers and young adults. I work with high school, college students and recent grads and continue to work with women at a crossroads of their lives and careers.
A warm and supportive approach
Using a mix of compassion and humor, I coach my clients towards:
- Increased self-knowledge
- Increased confidence
- Sense of direction
- Unique leadership style
The path to this work has a number of varied and interesting turns. It all began with a psychology class in high school and includes a degree in psychology from Tufts University, nearly twenty years with IBM, a master’s degree in education from Harvard and owning my own business. The common thread through this seemingly diverse group of experiences is a profound interest in people, a gift for listening well and the strong desire to learn.
My introduction to the world of coaching began when I hired a life coach to help me plan for the time when my youngest son would be heading off to college. I wanted help thinking about what I wanted to do in that next phase of my life. The deep insight and self-discovery that occurred while working with my coach became the inspiration for my decision to become a coach myself.
My initial coach training was done with Coaches Training Institute, the largest and most rigorous coach training program in the world. I am also certified with the Academic Life Coaching Program, a cutting edge approach toward coaching youth. I am Credentialed with the International Coach Federation at the Professional Certified Coach level and am a certified Mentor Coach, when allows me to train and help other coaches strengthen their coaching.
My husband and I live near Boston. Our two sons, who were teenagers when I began coaching, are now young adults and in the working world. I do my best thinking when getting my hands dirty in the garden, refinishing furniture and cooking. Some of my most cherished memories involve family, travel, food and good conversation. I also enjoy skiing and snowshoeing and have never seen an antique home I didn’t love.
